BIO
A native of Williamsburg, Virginia, Marika recently completed the Adler Fellowship Program as a Pianist/Coach at San Francisco Opera, and is a Doctoral Candidate in Collaborative Piano at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music under the guidance of Kevin Murphy and Anne Epperson.
Ms. Yasuda maintains an active schedule collaborating with vocalists and instrumentalists. Recent engagements include concerts at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Seiji Ozawa Hall, Herbst Theatre, and Bennett Gordon Hall. During her summers, she has held fellowships at the prestigious Merola Opera Program, Ravinia’s Steans Music Institute, the Tanglewood Music Center, SongFest, and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, among others.
